People with qualifying arrests and convictions may petition the court to expunge or seal your records. The Office of the State Appellate Defender can answer any questions regarding the eligibility for expungement and sealing. The fee to expunge a case is $120.00 made payable to: LaSalle County Circuit Clerk

The filing fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of your petition.  Click here for expungement information.

You must remit:

  • Request/Motion to Expunge

  • Notice of Hearing

  • $120.00 fee

  • Correct number of copies
